Ukraine bans economic activities of dozens of Russian companies

KIEV, Nov 8 (PRIME) -- Ukraine’s Economic Development and Trade Ministry has suspended all economic activities of 25 Russian companies, including fertilizer producer EuroChem and several its affiliates, like Nevinnomyssky Azot, in the country, the ministry said in a September 19 ruling published late on Tuesday.

The ministry also disclosed two rulings dated October 30, in which it imposed similar sanctions on 17 other Russian companies, including Yuzhtrans, which is one of the largest exporters of anthracite coal to Ukraine, according to local media.

The sanctions come in force 40 days after the date of the rulings.
